Sensate is a brand advisory led by Prem Kishore.
It began with a question: can design move beyond form and function to shape how organisations think, behave, and evolve?
Our name comes from sensing—attentiveness as a way of working. The studio is rooted in Richard Buchanan’s Four Orders of Design: symbols, objects, interactions, and organisations. Sensate explores a fifth: transformation.
We work with founders, teams, and institutions that are navigating change. That might mean refining identity, launching a platform, or scaling into new markets. Our role is to bring clarity, coherence, and systems that hold.
We approach brands not as messages that need to be delivered, but as participants—in culture, in organisations, in ecosystems. Design here isn’t an output. It’s a shift. Of narrative, of structure, of intention.
This is what we call alignment design. Between spirit, system, and story.
We work across four brand quadrants:
Clarity – identity, narrative, positioning
Systems – CRM, content ops, marketing automation
Experience – touchpoints, onboarding, UX
Community – brand behaviour, participation, belonging
Post-2020, Sensate also took on an ecological lens. Because design has consequence. It shapes behaviour, signals intention, and alters systems. The work must hold that complexity—with care.

Prem is a brand strategist and design advisor with nearly two decades of experience shaping identities, platforms, and systems of meaning for companies across the world. He works with founders, startups, and organisations navigating change—offering structure, narrative, and systems thinking.
Before founding Sensate, Prem led FREO, a design advisory working across tourism, health, finance, and technology. He’s partnered with teams at Wipro Digital, IndiQube, Tribe Tours, and Ultimate Drive Singapore—creating work that’s helped businesses grow, reposition, and scale.
His thinking is shaped by Richard Buchanan’s four orders of design—graphic, product, interaction, and organisation—and Sensate was born from the need to explore a fifth: transformation. His approach blends narrative, identity, and infrastructure, helping brands make sense of who they are and what they stand for.
Prem has previously held creative leadership roles at McCann, Ogilvy, and Hungry & Foolish. He’s won recognition from D&AD, Goafest Abby, and Webby India, and has been featured in McCann’s Best 50 Creatives.
He lives in Bangalore, is an alumnus of Loyola College and The Lawrence School, and continues to work with a close-knit network of writers, developers, filmmakers, and technologists to design for change.
Anuja Jadhav
Co-Founder, Brand Communications Lead
Anuja is a brand communications strategist with over a decade of experience in building, launching, and managing some of India’s most recognised lifestyle brands. Her work bridges advertising, brand management, and communication strategy—rooted in a belief that storytelling shapes how brands are understood and remembered.
Before joining Sensate, she spent 10 years at Arvind Brands, where she played a key role in scaling labels like Flying Machine, US Polo, Ed Hardy, and Elle. With a career spanning both agency and brand-side, she brings a dual perspective to every engagement—balancing creative vision with commercial clarity.
At Sensate, she works closely with clients and internal teams to align communication, sharpen positioning, and develop content systems that feel authentic and effective. Her network of writers, artists, media professionals, and creative collaborators brings richness and range to every project.
Anuja is an alumna of The Baldwin School and Commits, Bangalore, and leads the narrative and brand voice development for projects across sectors.
